Responsibilities
- Manage the warehouse operations across the supply chain from picking to despatch
- Ensure compliance to the work schedule as defined by the company
- Adhere to the HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) standards and protocols defined by company
- The candidate must ensure to actively participate in day briefing meeting or de-brief meeting as and when conducted by the respective supervisor or the manager at the warehouse
- Follow the code of conduct as specified by the company
- The individual must make sure to manage the assigned tasks on-time
- Warehouse operator must make sure to execute his responsibilities as per the defined process flow without any deviation or mismanagement
- Work with relevant team members at the premises as per the defined work groups
- Liaison closely with supervisor or manager as applicable to ensure swift execution of interdependent tasks at the warehouse
- Ensure utilization of the required tools and gadgets as provided by the company (warehouse manager/ shift supervisor)
Experience:
- Prior experience working in logistics, retail, cold chain, or FMCG warehouse environments is preferred.
- Ideal candidate would have worked in teams
- Stock management or despatch experience is recommended
Competencies and Skills:
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory protocols
- Basic knowledge of HSE guidelines
- Team collaboration and communication skills
- Time management and ability to manage day to day tasks
- Attention to detail and commitment to process compliance
- Ability to use handheld scanners, or other warehouse tools
